Answer: Yes. It removes the shell and vein in one quick swipe.

Answer: I found it to be too fat, and prefer to use a knife. Don't think this worked very well.

This sure beats using your fingers to peel and then the knife to devein. It's fast and convenient. Wish they made it from metal though, to prevent it from breaking. My previous one broke after so much use.

This works, but don't expect a clean cut on the back of the shrimp. Good for home cooking when presentation isn't a big deal. For guests, I would still peel, slice and devein the old fashion way to get better looking shrimps.

Easu to use. It took me 1 minute to get the hang of it.
I can deveina nd peel 20+ large shrimps per minute.
Would also make a nice gift be a nice accessory to add to a gift basket .
Maybe add a corkscrew, a bottle of wine, a pound of frozen shrimp, a bottle of teriyaki sauce, etc...
