SBizzle : Don't waste money- Color comes right off

Used one of the spoons for a total of 4 times and the coloring is already almost completely worn off. Fishing in fresh water- Lake Erie. It did catch a few fish but my guess is it will not be as effective without the color. May be a knock off and not the actual Michigan Stinger.

Aaron K. Garrett : This is a trolling spoon not for casting.

I wasnt aware these were trolling spoons. They are made of a thin metal so casting them is out of the question. The finish is good and I bet they will work great being trolled on a downrigger. I am going to stack two of them and put the split rings in the holes of both lures to add weight so they can be casted. There are some guys who do this with spoons that they use to fish for Wels Catfish. The spoons clank against each other and make more noise. Wels have a good lateral line.
