Answer: No. It will sink. It is very effective for small trout fishing. But not for bigger ones (20 inch+)

Answer: no these are for fishing mainly trout.

Answer: Don't know the the exact answer to your question. However, it became kind of mushy after a week or so even being kept in the fridge.

Out of the four different color salmon eggs I ordered, this one held up the best although I don't think the color has anything to do with shelf life. I have been using this color salmon eggs for years and it always has come in second to the pink eggs. This year I tried the yellow color and this color has dropped down a notch.

These eggs work great. Trout and other fish love them, most notably largemouth bass here in NC. Mike's eggs seem to hold up due to freshness and stay on the hook well. I would love a Tee Shirt and might do a fishing video for you guys on YouTube soon. i am thinking about getting something going and showing some people how to produce and illustrate quality content.

I'm an avid trout angler and only take what I'm going to eat. Once I switched to these, I could not make a cast without getting a strike. These are simply amazing. Sadly, the story is not all good. With my newfound luck, the amount of trout I harvested increased dramatically. I believe this put a dark cloud of karma over my head for taking more than I needed. the trout I caught and consumed began to come to me in my dreams and still do to this day. Some of them want to talk, some want to give advice on life, some want to argue and fight. There are also a couple that show up, while not saying a word, smile at me, turn their backside to me, and blow farts. There is this one trout, Brooks (ironically, a rainbow trout), who mocks my manhood and threatens to get with my girlfriend while I'm out fishing. This has gotten to the point that It's affected my life. I've tried counseling to no avail. I can no longer leave my girlfriend alone for fear of Brooks moving In on her. These work great, so I highly recommend them, but please harvest your trout sparingly, or you could end up like me.

As the headline says, these worked better at my last fishing trip to a certiain Midwest spring creek. Caught a lot of rainbow stockers, and about 6 natural browns. All on these garlic eggs.

They wouldn’t stay on the hook. But when I could get them to stay on I did have a little luck with them.

This works great. We have caught stocked rainbow trout every time we used it. The eggs get a bit soft after the jar has been open for a while and the trout will manage to get them off the hook easier. It does work well though and we have never been skunked since we discovered this bait (caught trout all 4 times we brought this with us). The trout will do a little zig zag as they approach it and get closer to it each pass before they finally bite. We have even caught bluegill and green sunfish on it. We want to try this as a panfish bait in August when the bite slows down tremendously.

Pictures are worth a thousand words...... a 10 in Rainbow Trout, 10.5 in Rainbow, a almost 13 in Rainbow ......I started useing these eggs hooked with half of a worm on a # 8 hook and I started to catch Rainbow Trout (Shark River Park, Neptune, NJ).... I'll admit I didnt catch fish all the time but it was a HUGE improvement...... I was getting hits on Spring Lake in Spring Lake, NJ with these salmon eggs... my other 2 poles I was useing Power Bait / Worm and various lures....No hits!.....give this a try, I think you will be happy

I tried this color salmon egg for the first time. It works better than the white eggs which I used only when I ran out of the pink eggs. This color has become my second favorite.

This color shrimp egg is by far the best bait I have ever used. I only trout fish with salmon eggs and this color egg 90% of the time. Fishing with 2 lb test, a barbless size 10 salmon egg hook and pink eggs, this combo very rarely fails me. I am very disappointed with the shelf life though. I have been purchasing this brand of eggs (not from Amazon) for years and this is the first year that the eggs were soft and started cracking within a week of the jar being opened. I store the eggs in the refrigerator and have had jars last much longer. Not sure who to blame the manufacturer or the merchant. I would have given the product 5 stars had I not had this issue.

When we received our package, it was stained on the bottom. When we opened it, it was full of broken glass. We had ordered 3 bottles of salmon eggs and some fish hooks -- all covered in oil. The bottle of cheese bait eggs were broken and leaked everywhere. These salmon eggs are in glass bottles and the only protection used was some crumbled newspaper on the bottom. I emailed them about the broken bottle, the oily mess and told them about the poor packing material. They offered to replace just the bottle of cheese bait eggs. Very little effort to satisfy this customer. I think about them everytime I use the other oil stained jars. Bait was great -- customer service is poor. Sandra
