Answer: Yes, amazing results! got mine at Walmart and have caught countless sunfish and bullheads off of them, great fun for that fishing but I believe they would destroy bass and trout, haven't tried them yet though.

Answer: Catfish are bottom feeders and these lures float, so unless you put a sinker on it it wouldn't go to the bottom where they are located. For catfish, I use a hook and those yellow catfish baits.

Answer: No not too water, it dives a bit depending upon the speed of the retrieve, I use for all freshwater and even surf perch in saltwater and for the price you can't beat them. Personal favorite with these lures: panfish.

Always in the Woods : Good Value has tendency to corkscrew if retrieved too fast

not a bad value for the amount of lures, hooks are a bit flashy and in tannic water I haven't had as good luck as with small rebel lures but some folks swear by these. I think they're worth a shot at such a low price, just be cautious as reeling in at anything other than a slow retrieve will cause them to corkscrew in the water.

These are the nicest mini cranks I've seen in years, much better than anything I've seen at multiple specialty outdoor stores I shop for my flies and lures, etc at the price range. Only ones as nice I get cost me about $7 a piece, so great bargain, wonderful coloring. Quality action for crappie already this past week though a little early in the season still, time will only tell on how they hold up. Giving only 4 stars because there were only 5 of 6 in the package but they arrived quickly and for the price even 5 were a great buy.

Color and print quality was acceptable, dive depth was shallow about (2 ft) for all baits.
Action was an acceptable tight wobble. Impersonation of a beetle more than a fish.

Caught small panfish. The hooks are large gauge for such a small bait, and not very sharp. Could use a better quality hook.

The price of these for what you get is amazing. The hooks don't seem bad, haven't bent at all and hooks the crap outta bluegills even when being picky. Alas the baits not magical, you have to figure out wheres good to cast it, work it a certain depth, ect. You have to catch the fish lol. That being said grab these baits, so far got bites on 4 colors. All quickly retrieved getting reaction strikes.

Amazing body detail for these small lures. Nice size and weight the such a small body. Great value for the money. These should be fantastic for pan fish.

I have tried them for a few weeks now and I am pleased with the results.
These will catch you panfish, bass and I even got freshwater drums on two separate occasions.
I will probably try to downsize the treble hook to a #12 or #14 since I am getting a fair amount of hits that don't end with a hookup. Hopefully this will enhance the microfishing experience.

Now for the lures: I'll be using these for crappie, so the strength of the hooks is not terribly important since I dial back my reel's drag to keep from tearing their mouths, anyway. These hooks are the right size and very sharp.

The colors are incredible! The nice thing about buying a varied batch is that you can change out colors to find the one the fish like best. I like the variety in these.

They are slow risers in the water. When crappie are shallow, I can reel and pause appropriately. When they're deep, I'll add a split shot at the knot and send them down.

Lil suckers are awesome for little bass. Caught a ton of small bass on these guys. They do sink which is fine, just expected them to float but cast them out. Let them sink down a few feet and pull up bass. Caught about 10 my first day on them.

With 10 in the pack and the price considered, I would recommend picking up a small rapala or rebel as those will have slightly better action.
These sink and when you retrieve, they float upwards. I've had small sunfish bite the body and completely miss the hook. I would rather have two small trebles as opposed to one larger one.

These lures actually catch fish. I haven't caught any really big ones but when the bite gets slow on my bigger lures I like to dial back to smaller ones. For the price of one Rapala you can use these to experiment with all sorts of colors to see what's working best at the time. I've caught sunfish, perch, and crappie, bass, and even a small northern pike on these. The colors get chewed up, the little eyeballs fall off and they look like little zombie baits after a while, but I don't care as long as they work. I'll be buying more of these soon.

OnlyJuan : Good lures. Bad for catch and release. Solution cut 1 or 2 hook to make a single hook.

The action is good on a medium to slow retrieve. The colors are bright and the hooks are sharp. The ONLY problem is if you are a catch and release fisherman getting these hooks out a small fish mouth will be very difficult. I had a small bluegill slow the hook and when the hook set all 3 hooks got him. He look like Bane from Batman. Poor guy. Well the solution was simple. My pliers had scissor so I cut the hook points to release it. The gauge is very thin so it was easy to cut. So I cut 1 hook point off the treble to make it east to unhook them.

I've used these a couple times but have not caught anything on them yet. I find that they cast best when there is a split shot about 4-5 inches up from the lure. These are very light lures and difficult to cast otherwise. Hope to catch some nice sized pan fish with these!

Okay, had these guys out a few times now, and by and large, they're great for bank-fishing lakes and ponds for bass, crappie, and bluegill. The dark ones have been especially effective. One big gripe, though. The bodies are so small and the treble hooks so big that they find a way to get tangled about every third cast. Super annoying. Ah, well. As long as I'm still getting hits (and I really am).

Shipping date was pushed back, so although it arrived "on time" it didn't. One of the hooks on one bait was broken. The missing piece was not in the bag or anywhere I could find. Also it was advertised as a "topwater" bait, but it seems to float below the surface. I haven't actually fished with them yet as I received them yesterday, so maybe the reeling action will pull the lure to the surface of the water.
Really though, they were quite inexpensive for 9 lures. I'm still excited to try them out. You kind of get what you pay for.
