Answer: No, they do not float.

Answer: They didn't float for me. They also never caught a fish either. I would recommend making boiled yourself.

Gets soggy kinda quick and has a tendency to come off the hook but if you can get it close to a Carp rather quickly they tear it up.

I've caught a couple carp with this bait, biggest was 15.3 lbs. This is a soft bait about the size of a big marble. You can mold it around the hook a little bit, but if you do it too much it won't hold together well and fly off the hook when you cast. It shrinks slowly in the water, it will be about 2/3 of its original size after an hour and be somewhat softer. You'll have to careful casting it after it soaks for a while. I have pulled some off the hook when done fishing and put it back in the bag for the next trip a week later and it seemed okay.
