what is the shelf life of these baits if the bags are kept sealed? can I buy now for a February fishing trip?

Answer: while I can't speak for the manufacturer, these bites probably could last till the next ice age even out of the bag. They are a dry product, I would not worry about 4 months. They worked well for me with whiting off Folly Beach in S.C. Good luck.

How do you store your Fishbites between fishing trips?

Answer: I have them actually in a plastic patient sample container, but any pill bottle would work just as well.

Answer: In my tackle box. Keeping them outside the refrigerator doesn't spoil them

Answer: If I remember correctly ~2 dozen. But they last a very long time. The clam stuff is glued to a fiber glass type mesh. Once on the hook, they are very hard to get off. Clam "stuff" eventually dissolves.

Why is it more expensive than at Walmart?

Answer: You always have to double check amazon prices. They don't carry these up north were I live.

Answer: No, but it may be worth a try. They get mushy after a while so I would put them in a mesh bag

Only received 13 strips, but I won’t complain, Ima slice em anyway, but if you wanna get on whiting and pomps, this is the way to do it. When you fillet a fish and look in its stomach, you’ll see the coquina clams this will attract them, guarantee. (Sand flea and shrimp is also a favorite of mine)
