If this is for trout, why does Berkeley’s video reference bass and their olfactory and gustatory senses?

Answer: It's for trout but you can catch other varieties. Are you looking for trout bait or bass bait? I'm not a bass pro but don't you usually use plastics for bass?? I don't care what the advertising says? I use power bait dough for trout only.

Answer: I realized the line of powerbaits... plastics, dips, liquids are also targeting other types of fish. Powerbait is a tasty treat for fishing targets, hence the reason why PowerBait tauts smell & taste in their ads.

I only received one bottle ? Where is the other bottle I paid for???

If i use fluorocarbon line will it still float?

Answer: Depends on hook size and line size. Small hook 10 or 12 and line 4-6 lbs should be OK.

isn't PVC and glitter (plastic and aluminum) toxic for the lakes and streams?

Answer: Not my area of expertise, but I would think so. I would suggest you contact DFG in your state, they have toxicologists that can offer an informed answer. Thanks for thinking of our environment.

Is the glitter biodegradable?

Answer: Who cares..this bait. Sticks to the hook very well. It main functions are...#1. It floats..#2. It has a scent that attracts trout...my wife caught a 10# steelhead on her first trip to Walnut ck in Erie..on yellow glitter power bait..rolled in a small ball on a #10 treble hook it resembled a salmon egg..

No argument that stocked trout love this stuff. Unfortunately I noticed there's so much of this stuff littering my local lakes because it's not biodegradable. It's made of pvc plastic powder with oil to hold it together. That means it will never go away we're just going to foul up our beautiful lakes and rivers.

I only caught 1 trout on this color. At the lake the storekeeper said if I would put on a little piece of nightcrawler on the trable hook and then power bait on top of that I should be good to go. Worked a couple of times. Capt America (red, white and blue) worked once time also. My friends kept catching theirs off the peach/salmon color). They caught more than I did. My friend also caught a Lightening Trout. We had never seen anything like it before here in our California haunts. Beautiful fish-looks like a creamsicle.

It likely depends on where you fish, but this is my 3rd favorite color of power bait, after orange & sherbet.

It is by far my favorite color though during cloudy & raining conditions! Try mixing with other colors, such as orange for even better results.

Its Power Bait what else needs to be said. If the trout are hungry they are coming for it, though sometimes you do need to change colors up to see what they are after with given conditions.

I watched a few videos recently trying to get a bit of knowledge on how to catch some rainbow trout for a recent camping trip and this stuff kept popping up.
Here's how it went:
Went camping and CAUGHT RAINBOW TROUT!
Can't believe it. I suck at fishing and this really worked. I used a pretty small hook and covered it with enough to conceal the hook and tossed it out. Waited a bit and the pole started dancing around and I pulled out some great fish. I'm going to have to swear by this stuff now. For the price, just get it and try it. There were some young kids not too far from where I was, catching fish as well and when I walked over they had the exact same chartreuse glitter power bait and they were also using some that was garlic scented, that they said was also working great. I might have to try that as well. This stuff made me feel like a man in front of my wife. Caught fish, cut fish and cook fish on fire. Man.

This is my go to color for stocked brown trout. I typically use a number 8 hook 18 inches above a split shot and ball this dough over the hook until you cant see the hook anymore into a perfect circle shape. the bait will float off the bottom while the sinker keeps the line down in the strike zone. For added interest, at times i will first hook on a mealie worm and then ball the dough over the worm with the tail hanging out and wiggling through the dough bait. The combination is irresistible. But the dough, by itself, does catch stocked trout, and is often enough to fill limits on its own.
